Engaging the Path of Zen (in person and online)

Led by Ryushin Paul Haller

Even though the path of practice unfolds uniquely for each person, there are features that are common to us all. Initially we’re challenged to discover how to engage the traditional awareness techniques of body, breath and mind and see what’s happening in our heart and mind.

We’re challenged to let awareness reveal the patterns of our thinking and feeling and responses and how they shape our behaviour. Then we’re challenged to practice with the insights and clarity that have been revealed. They can help us to bring kindness and wisdom to our relationships, work and the continuous discovery of how to live this one wild and precious life.

This workshop will describe and offer guidance in practising these techniques and discuss what challenges they present and how they can be incorporated into everyday life.

We invite you to participate in person at Black Mountain Zen Centre (please wear loose, comfortable clothing) or online via Zoom. We will record the event and send the link online if you request.
